year ago to the day we were notified by Newcastle City Council that we had been successful in our application for a heritage plaque at the site of the Club a'Gogo. To say we were ecstatic would be an understatement. We were thrilled and a bottle of chambers was cracked open!
We are so proud to have achieved this for the people of Newcastle and that this fantastic club will now get the recognition it so rightly deserves. The plaque will also remember the Handyside Arcade, another subject we will feel passionately about and we pay homage to the Arcade by naming our monthly Handyside Arcade Alternative Market after the original .
