Over on Facebook we have set up a new group called Handyside Books, the name is a bit of a homage to the Handyside Arcade, a much loved haunt of the Newcastle youth tribes from the 60s, 70s and 80s. The arcade was party of Handyside Buildings, home of Club a'Gogo and sadly demolished in the late 80s. The group is a cultural discussion forum for lovers of books, music, art, fashion etc. It has a North East focus but we are not limited to that. We've had some great input from our followers so far.
