We are chuffed to announce that our Downbeat magazine is now being stocked by BALTIC Centre For Contemporary Art. We are honoured to have our humble little magazine on sale in such a prestigious gallery. They are currently stocking Issue 2 but also the elusive 'first' Issue 1 (not the reprint) as we know some collectors out there have been trying to get their mits on this one!
If you're from the North East you will know all about the Baltic and it is great that it is now open for business again after closing during the pandemic. If you are not from the North East, the Baltic is a must see venue with its contemporary fantastic exhibitions, our recent Downbeat contributor was the artist Graham Dolphin who has exhibited at the Baltic and sells some of his work via Rough Trade. So if you are wanting a day out, then get yourselves down to Newcastle's Quayside and head to the Baltic and don't forget to pop into the shop which is stuffed full of really unusual gifts, books, art, children's stuff and of course our mag!!
Oh and finally we are massive on supporting small local businesses (not just because we are one!) and a lot of the products sold in the shop are made by North East artists and businesses.
Cheers folks!
